Behind Hollow Eyes I Hide.

She's not just the girl with brown choppy hair,
Her eyes are numb, void of care.
Secrets are hidden deep inside,
But nobody notices she's even there,

Her heart shows through the scars,
That sprinkle down her arms,
Leaving crimson red tears,
That bled straight from her soul.

Time no longer matters,
The days fade into one,
Numbness wraps it's arms around her,
Whispering secrets about a gun.

It tells her she's not pretty,
That she's impossible to love,
It reminds her of her daddy,
That left her for his new family.

It reminds her she's unwanted,
Something that should be replaced,
A mistake once made,
With an ugly broken face.

Her mind tells her she is hated,
By those who say they care,
Those who want to share,
The pain they hate to bare.

She doesn't care about herself,
Or the pain she feels inside,
From her hopeless face, the tears never fall,
Behind her hollow eyes she hides.

She doesn't even care,
That she doesn't care,
She only cares,
That nobody else does.

Sometimes she hopes that someone will see,
Who she really is. not what she pretends to be,
Her eyes plead for help from her black hell,
But her generic smile masks it well.
