Yourself

Yourself

The Great side of you

wears Gladly insufficient clothing

Marking the change in trend

Returning to nakedness/

Yourself

The big side of you,

Dines golden forks to silver plates,

Lobster crowns, Oiled oyster shells,

Cracked, and go on laughing about life/

Yourself

The dark side of you,

Wants without hardship

All the diamonds the world bares;

friends by hand picking

basket decisions;

Anything to sate greed

Make you lazier than hell/

Yourself

The lonely side of you,

Lounges beneath cape wide clouds,

On granite stones,

Hauling memories into rivers.

Severing heartbreaks into creativity;

A black inked pen

Who does all the talking/

Yourself

That part of you I love

That saintly side of you

Tells me sex when I see you

And Gives me blue balls

When I leave you.

reminds me of beauty every time you say no.

makes me laugh another day...
