Oh Sweet Agony

His broken body lay limp on the floor,
But the scene is all too familiar
And you’ve seen him here before.
The pain is his eyes, his beautiful green eyes.
You hope that he will rise, but he only manages to cry.

And every time you part ways it ends up just the same,
A cold motionless man
Writhing
dying
and crying,
with only you to blame,
Remember the good days?
The hell you put him through, yet he still stayed there to say;
In the end you’ll know what’s good for me and you’ll set this hell ablaze.

Now set his hell ablaze, end his misery and let him go,
But you won’t back down, not yet, because you know,
You did this to him. You caused him this agony.
A once happy man, is now fighting to keep his sanity.

As you watch him begin to fade,
His black hair seems to lose its wave,
His eyes have grown real dark you see,
Now he doesn’t want you’re empathy.
He’s gone to another place in his mind.
Where living for you is a nightmare, a crime.

And every time you part ways it ends up just the same,
A cold motionless writer
Writhing
dying
and crying,
with only yourself to blame
