Life's Horrible

Salutations given from friends, yet always ignored.
Disowned and kicked out by the parents I've come to adore,
Contributions to the church down the street who recommended it.
Live by the word happiness and it's definition.

Never known for success, known for mistakes.
Sacrifice your all and have nothing left, all it takes.
Frowned upon and cast out of the group.
Insulted and pushed around, yet police officers have nothing to do.

Disgraceful, I know, to be the lowlife of the town.
As a child, and even as you're full grown.
Tragic and sadness is in session.
Tears and your own arms for comfort, just a hint of depression.

Compare mine to everyone else's public and perfect life.
Remember what happens behind closed doors and their silent lies.
Two-story house, white porch, and large backyard.
Commonly known with a trophy family who are all liars.

Don't let it get to your "thick-headed" mind.
Because all their morals and values have been defied.
Not everyone tends to comply,
And no one has a perfect life.
