The sun rises
as a soul fades
The wind keeps blowing
As the luster in your eye
becomes cloudy

You struggle to breathe
despite the pain it causes
the suffering isn't enough
You just want to survive

You can't tell if that's the sun
or the light you're supposed
to run away from
You're just so close

You're slipping through the cracks
It's a bitter sweet
sinfully delicious sensation
That you can't deny

You want to live
but death seems to sweet
if the pain will wither
away

The pain is fading
in unison with your vision
Life seems so far away
It's gone
