The Starstruck Lovers

Here are the starstruck lovers
Blind and deaf to the evils of the worlds,
But toast to the fountain of their love.
They feast in great merriment,
Happy even in seclusion.
Seeing nothing but the promises of forever,
And indifferent to the shadows of the past.
Gullible to the mere prospect of their love,
But vulnerable to the benefit of doubt.
I salute you, starstruck lovers.
For you see not the harshness and cruelty of society,
But see the golden shine and the sweets delights of Life.
