Waiting for Life

Running, forever in slow motion
Tumbling, into the unknown
Clinging, to my sanity

As I try to swim this ocean

Climbing, up into the sky
Breaking, down these boundaries
Holding, forever in my grasp

As I, the world can defy

Waiting, all things frozen
Calling, summoning the light
Reaching, fingers feel out stretched hands

As I have been chosen

Touching, substantiating reality
Feeling, drowning in my senses
Knowing, thoughts filling the empty space

As I am just another casualty
