Falling Into the Stars

So secure?
Dancing in this palace of dreams
Live by night
As day dawns into a waking slumber
And once more she falls
Falls into the stars

Unaffected?
Playing in this fictitious reality
Die by day
As night sets into a slumbering wake
And once more she falls
Falls into the stars

Comforted?
Walking through this mirage marvel
Laugh by night
As day fills with haunting shadows of light
And once more she falls
Falls into the stars

So Assured?
Skipping through this delightful delusion
Cry by day
As night is enveloped by the light of shadows
And once more she falls
Falls into the stars

Confidant?
Talking to the appealing apparitions
Love by night
As day saps strength and spirit
And once more she falls
Falls into the stars

Living?
Forays into this Fantasy
Hate by day
As night is an escape from horrors born in light
And once more she falls
Falls into the stars

Awake.
Singing ballads of white prose
Spinning crystal threads, rivalling spider
That poisons her mind and soul,
Her body a canvas painted with colours of pain

Asleep.
She dances, plays, gads about
Lives in her illusion world
Tries to right the wrong of life
Tries to win a lost fight

Day.
He finds her, She cant hide
He hurts her, She cant fight
His art seen by blind eyes
Her cries fall upon deaf ears

Night.
She hides in her world, he can’t find her
Her spirit battles on, he can’t hurt her
Bathed in nights’ blessed ignorant bliss
Is a child

Life.
Night gradually turns to day
And so her dream dawns into a nightmare
Soon she will fall
Fall into the stars and be no more
