Universal Connection

Cosmic clouds rain down in space.
While lunar pixies dance on comets tails.
Jupitor’s storm leaves a swirling trace.
The meteors run a fiery race.

In the trees we sat and stared.
So small amongst the empty space.
With naïve dreams, we felt so scared,
But the moon shone on, the light it shared.

The stars raced through my head.
In swirls of dust and particles.
There was nothing left that night, so lonely, cold in my bed.
Tonight, I dreamt of stars instead.

We’re nothing in this universe,
No God could help us find our path.
Just clusters of atoms, living in reverse.
Celestial beings, the stars would nurse.
