Alice

I wish I was
that little blond girl
Alice Kingsley, to be precise,
with the long, blond curl
She tumbled down a rabbit hole
and discovered Wonderland
A place filled with strange creatures
and mischief, unplanned

She had tea with Mad Hatters
and recieved grins from cats
A blue caterpillar blew smoke in her face-
imagine that!
Young Alice in even faced
the great Red Queen
Who's head, I can assure you,
is a sight to be seen!

"Is this all just a dream?"
She asks the White Queen.
"Dear Alice," she replies,
"You are seeing it with
your very own eyes."
Alice comes to her senses,
and saves the day
And Wonderland is restored
from its former decay.

When she opens her eyes,
the strange place is gone
Back in her bed she is,
in familiary London
Alice tells her tale
to her big sister Katie,
who shakes her head and whispers,
"Save me."

"Then, was it all just a dream?"
"Of course," said Kate,
"Wonderland! What an impossible thing!"
