So You Think You've Got Problems? (Well, You're Not Alone.)

It figures, these days,
Even with the knowledge of delays,
That we still have to count the ways,
To know what we do is right.
And you know, things don't always go wrong.
They just seem to drag out too long,
That seems to make our heavy load still not so light.

And yet we sit here at this desk,
Demanding such a complicated request,
Moving on a never-ending express,
Just to find the ones we love.
Yeah, our moves are so complex,
That we have trouble finding what's next,
When we know the answer's always love.

So you ask what does it mean,
To carry a slate that's been swept clean?
The answers we all receive,
Aren't the ones we always want.
And where's our rock to lean?
Where's the end to this sad scene?
The answers aren't what we want.

"As water reflects a face,

So a man's heart reflects the man."
My only question for you is, what do you see?
Do you see yourself a disgrace,
Or somebody who knows where they stand?
In the end, I'll know where I'll be.
With love always by my side.

And now you sit there,
Trying to compare,
The difference between fair and unfair,
And realizing that life just flat out stinks.
But good will come to those who wait,
And place in His hands, their fate,
Lovingly, the right thoughts, you'll think.

So forget what the media says,
Don't let them get into your heads,
Or you'll find out it all leads to rest,
That head in your shaking hands.
Nobody's perfect, we all know that.
And nobody's asked to be, in fact.
We're different, but loved, in all lands.

So I'm not who you want me to be,
I never asked to be made like I am.
But you're just gonna have to deal with it.
Because I live in a world that's free,
And as I've said before, I am what I am.
Because soon the fire will be lit,
And love, worldwide, will be for all.
