Frozen Flames
White moonlight shines
Down on your face
No kindness found in darkening grace
Snow falls all 'round
Lands in your hair
Blue eyes fill with pain and despair
You've been accused
Of high crimes against the church
For someone kind, your pleas make their search
You know the truth
You have not been sent from Hell
You cast no curse, or perform no spell
But no one hears
Those words which you speak
And now the cold has made you weak
Unable to flee
Fire placed at your feet
Skin that blisters from the heat
You will die
That much is known
You bow your head, utter a groan
All innocence
Is unknown, or ignored
For being strange, this is your reward
Silence falls over the crowd
Your body slumps forward, your life has been taken
Never shall you reawaken
Down on your face
No kindness found in darkening grace
Snow falls all 'round
Lands in your hair
Blue eyes fill with pain and despair
You've been accused
Of high crimes against the church
For someone kind, your pleas make their search
You know the truth
You have not been sent from Hell
You cast no curse, or perform no spell
But no one hears
Those words which you speak
And now the cold has made you weak
Unable to flee
