Eternity

The fear dancing wildly in her eyes

Opposite to the happiness obvious in his

She whispers an endless amounts of words

Begging him to leave her alone

But nothing could work now, she knew

As she actually walked herself to her doom

Now, if she can rewind the past months again

I’m sure she would’ve chosen another end

She wouldn’t have met him, neither fallen in love

She wouldn’t have agreed to be forever his

Cuz when she promised she didn’t know

How literally the word forever meant

But just tonight when she figured the truth

She started questioning how fooled she was

Cuz maybe ‘observant’ wasn’t what she was

But some things were really hard to pass her by

The moon shining brightly in the star-less sky

Making the empty forest seem even creepier

She watched as his fangs began to elongate

And dangerously came closer to her neck

she felt them sink slowly into her skin

sending endless pain through her spine

the venom started spreading through her body

and she was slowly falling out of conscious

Just before the human figure closed her eyes

He faintly whispers in her ears

‘I Love you’

And with that, her eternity begins
