A Tear

A tear, a tear, what is a tear?
A small drop of salty water,
It seems to be, as it escapes the eye,
As it silently rolls down the cheek.
This one little drop, only this drop
Holds so much within, so much,
Within the prism of light that shines
[Copyright Amethyst Moon]
The simplest shine, there it hides.
The complex mix of emotions, feelings,
Such that many can never unravel,
The unimaginable, mystifying secrets,
The ones never meant to be found.
A tear, a tear, what is a tear?
This one little drop, so much within,
An enigma, so deep, so it is,
One no one can ever discover.
