The Price of a Kiss

The Price of a Kiss

Close your eyes and breath the air,
Give up all things without a care.
Innocent laughter brings a smile,
You hope that they will stay awhile.
The stars above you wink away,
As the wind blows the trees will sway.
And through the night the mockingbird sings,
Of sweet and heavenly things.
And out there somewhere, a child first spoke,
And in the schoolyard boys laugh and joke.
Free to feel and to see all around,
A little girl explores all to be found.
And you feel for the first time that simple bliss,
And all of that was for the price of a kiss.
