Promise Me Starry Night Skies

The stars stare back down at us in the deep night leading the way in the cave of trees.
I never want to leave those arms, wrapped around me like a blanket I feel protected.
I stare down into her eyes they shine like stars and the wet grass no longer feels cold beneath me, as if all the problems in the world would go away all I needed to do is stare into her eyes and get lost in her smile.
She’s defiantly a looker, but in my opinion guts matter more and how they’re displayed for me.
At that very moment I think she would have jumped in front of a moving train for me, which does take guts.
I’ve been fooled before with a look like that, she could kill the only question is would she?
It bugs me I will never know the answer.
I just have to trust the butterflies in my stomach are right, that she will hold me forever under those stars and that, the first kiss never was a mistake.
Things are said to happen for a reason and I hope I never figure out how we ended up here, because if I know it would ruin the feeling I have growing inside of me.
Maybe she really can promise me the world and protect me from all the evils. When her lips press against mine it as if the world has stopped and my heart has floated up into the sky.
The slightest imperfection never will run into the way she profoundly stares into my soul.
