A Perfect Place

I sit and dream of the perfect place,
All the nice people, and a familiar face.
Nothing but peace all around,
Living in a small city town.
Smiles and laughter in the air,
Outsiders come, they stop they stare.
Small children are running, playing with friends,
It's a shame that summer is about to end.
Those same little children, all giddy with laughter, Are separated from the world and all its disaster.
This perfect place, may not exsist,
But just to start let's make a list
Of all the things we need to do
To turn our lakes from green to blue
To stop all the conflict and start doing good
To help the homeless who live in the hood.
This perfect place, may not exsist
So all we can do is just hope, pray, and wish.
