Save Me From the Cold

Strained cries,
A body broken in this sea of white
Blinded;
Sobbing in the morning light
I cry out your name,
But get no replies
Other than an echo breaking and fading with time

I hear a whisper in the trees,
Coming to me on the sharp air;
Winters kiss goodbye
My soul is wandering into nowhere
My senses are fading, failing
As I die
I'm freezing in the cold of your wicked lies,
Promises were broken and you slashed all our ties
Only love can warm me and bring me back alive
I plead,
Won't you save my life?
Your image plagues my mind;
Tricking me to think I'm looking into your ever-deceiving beautiful eyes
My heart ceases to beat,
A weak "I love you" was my last cry
Now darkness invades the sky...
