They plead me to show emotion
They say, "hit something if you're mad."
Do you really want me to hit you?

they don't understand how I feel
they say, "cry if you're sad."
do you really want me to flood the world?

They ask for me to awknowledge them.
they say, "laugh if you're happy."
who says I don't?

they want me to tell them everything is okay.
I say, "everything is okay." they smile.
Do you really believe me?

Are you even worried about me at all?
Or is this all about you?

Because if I don't talk to you, it must be you that has the problem right?

I have to say something, cause if I don't, the neighbors might take me away.

And you don't want that to happen.. how bad would you look?

maybe i should make it worse; see what you do then.

do you lay in bed thinking about me?
