Tired Of Pretend
Whenever I say hi
You try to say goodbye
Whenever I say how are you
You say, “nothing new”
When I ask what’s up
You just say “stuff”
We used to be fine
Now it seems like you want to punch everyone in the eye
You act so down
Are you trying to push everyone to the ground?
You say you’re so mature
But now, I think that is a blur
You complain and whine
Just like it’s something you’re supposed to do all the time
I love you, you are my friend
But it seems like you are now pretend
You are tall
But your thoughts seem so small
You seem to ignore the good
Unlike you should
You bring us to your house
But you act like our servant mouse
You never enjoy
You just want to destroy
You are always in gloom
I hope you get out of that hole of doom
Because I am tired of pretend
Let’s just have this poem end
You try to say goodbye
