Unfathomable Beauty

Beauty in a dark place,
Eyes so full of shame
Every smile takes me away;
Where butterfly wings fall like rain

Kiss those lips so tenderly,
In the cold night air I cried
When soft words were said to me;
I assumed them to be beautiful lies
But after every star faded,
And I believed the sun had died
Angel wings could be seen;
Lighting up the sky

To you,
I bow my head;
Worshiping every tear you cry
Beauty beyond my imagination,
Entered my hapless life

Little did I know,
From ashes;
My king would rise
Stealing my heart and soul,
With those deep entrancing eyes...
