Love Is, But A Game

Fear is rational,
Yet full of power.
It's not criminal,
If you wish to cower.

War is just the same,
It's always full of fear.
Real life or video game,
It's always near.

In this case, it isn't normal,
For fear to take over.
You're simply not being formal,
Or the least bit sober.

Game or not,
There's no need to shout.
My stomach's in a knot,
Yet you're all I think about.

Screaming, throwing, cursing,
I can't help but to frown.
My eyes keep glancing,
At your every sound.

Yet love still finds its way,
Into my heart and mind.
You're only feet away,
But you can't unwind.

Love and Fear consume,
And worry creeps on in.
I don't need to assume,
That I just might win.
