Sleeping Hearts

Nights of suspicious wonders
Dreaming with you in my mind
Imaginations fill the air
Having nightmares of different kinds

Trees shiver, bodies tighten
Tears run down, blades sharpen
Wanting to embrace you, eyes suddenly close
Trying to reach you, but there's no purpose

I might have seen heaven, or maybe hell
At the looks of it, I can't even tell
But the time I closed my eyes, I felt cold
You grabbed my hand, there's no reason to hold

In this sightless night, silence is expected
Nothing is heard, nothing is expected
But seeing you beside me is something I didn't imagined
I guess our hearts are still sleeping, with their veins tightened.
