If Human

If we are human,
then why do we stall?

Life gives us chances,
and yet we decide to fall.

If we are human,
then why do we refuse,

to help out each other,
and then claim we've been used.

Why would we lie?
And why should we cry?
In truth we are selfish,
And yet we always still try.

If we are human,
thinking life should be perfect,

But with no bad we can't see the good,
So in the end we still believe we're sad.

Why would we hurt?
And why should we feel?
In truth we are dying,
By losing the life we steal.
