The Sun
The sun may rise
and the moon may fall.
From the stars,
I hear a call.
The golden beams of light,
from the sun,
fall down to the ground
for our fun.
The sun's gravity,
for it's a massive star,
is immensely huge
and can reach real far.
Holding the planets in place
is its burden of a job,
but with a smile on its face,
it works like a dog.
Now I know
how the days begin.
And I know
that they will never end.
For the sun will show
its golden face
on the earth
and on the human race.
Forever.
and the moon may fall.
From the stars,
I hear a call.
The golden beams of light,
from the sun,
fall down to the ground
for our fun.
The sun's gravity,
for it's a massive star,
is immensely huge
and can reach real far.
Holding the planets in place
is its burden of a job,
but with a smile on its face,
it works like a dog.
Now I know
how the days begin.
And I know
that they will never end.
For the sun will show
its golden face
on the earth
and on the human race.
Forever.
