She Bleeds Black

Eyeliner smears down her cheek
as she cries in the bathroom stall.
She hates that life knocks her off her feet
and makes her crawl.
Her friends don't notice when she disappears;
they must not care.
They would be better off
without her there.
Falling apart right before their eyes,
she slowly becomes a stray.
Inner pain is killing her;
making her ache.
The blade wants to remove the memory of you,
but she knows it's a mistake.
Still she digs it's sharp edge
into her soft skin.
She keeps telling herself,
"Never again."
