Circus of Pain

It's a circus of pain
An event made just for me
I am the VIP
Seated front and center
The ringmaster is my hurt
And the center of the show
Everything that hurt me
Manifested in this woman's soul
Then come the lion tamer
With the tamer as quickfixes
And the lion as unfulfilled desires
The lion only tamed for a short amount of time
The tapezes come out next
They are my depression
Up and down but always there
Still remaining constant
Here comes the tight rope walker
The tight rope walker is me
The rope is made of razors
While I balance over a net of insanity below
Then comes the muscle man
He is my fear
Showing off for all to see
And only getting stronger and stronger
Lastly are the clowns
They are my mistakes
Laughing and taunting me
Without any relent
But that is not that is not the worst part
The worst is not in the show
I slowly look at the audience
And it is filled with every person who ever hurt me
They are there to watch me whither in pain
AsI watch what burdens my soul
And I slowly begin to realize
That this circus has no end
My pain filled scream ignites the night
