Press Pen To Paper

I pour out my heart as I press pen to paper,
Writing it all to you in a letter.
The pain you caused me,
But you were too blind to see.
The whirlwind of destruction all around you,
You were too oblivious to have a clue.

As you read it I hope you feel guilt,
When you realise the lies you built.
Lies that destroyed everything we had.
Made everything you touch turn bad.
In the end everything was built on lies,
But you didn't seem to realise.

Either that or you didn't care.
In the end it got too much to bear.
So I pour out to you my heart,
Hoping to make a fresh start.

I pour out my heart as I press pen to paper,
Writing it all to you in a letter.
The pain you caused me,
But you were too blind to see.
The whirlwind of destruction all around you,
You were too oblivious to have a clue.
