Scream

Scream

Her eyes are covered with mist,
It’s all a blurry haze.
The drugs like poison in her system,
Making it all a daze.

Where did it all go wrong?
Where did it all go?
Her movements now are jerky,
And very, very slow.

She vaguely remembers starting this,
But was it to take away the pain?
Every night her personal nightmare,
Every night so very insane.

So she lost herself inside the pills,
Becoming a hollow shell.
Hiding beneath the surface,
With nobody to hear her yell.

So this is the story of a girl,
Wishing it were a dream.
This is the story of a girl,
With nobody to hear her scream.
