Whoever She Is;

I tell a story
Of an ordinary girl
Who stubborn as can be
In her own lonely world

I tell of her struggles
The obstacles she must face
Both the good and the bad
Longing, but no escape

I tell of her smiles
The wondrous acceptance
That sense of pure love
And unforgettable happiness

I tell of her pain
All the tears that fall through
The cracks in her appearance
The cold hard truth

I tell of her lies
Imperfections in the making
Destroyed faith
And a heart for the taking

I tell of her friends
The people she adores
The people who are there
To never let her feel ignored

I tell of her enemies
Not many to call upon
She has too much compassion
And too much she takes on

I tell of her love
And what she must do
To achieve that great feeling
To have what is true

I tell of her downfall
When nothing seemed quite right
The pressure built up to high
She gave up the fight

I tell of her low
Broken, beaten, and bruised
She thought she found it
But she was just used

I tell of her rise
And with God she did find
A new reason to believe
An ease of the mind

I tell of her high
Walking down that path
With a man at the end
Waiting, a new life at that

I tell of this girl
Who goes on until the end
A mother, a sister
Grandma, cousin, an aunt or friend

Whoever she is
Whoever she may be
It's your own interpretation
It's who in your head you see
