Sibling Selfishness

You say we should be closer
that it shouldn't be like this
Because you're my sister

You want to be like other siblings
it's hard for me because of all the drama you bring
You say you can't read me
You don't know what's going on in my head
but my friends see right through me
some can't believe half the things you just said

You've never cared what i thought
so when i was upset you were never the one i sought
You always told me your problems
I always tried to help you solve 'em

You brushed my problems off like they were nothing
To me they were always something
You can't read me for a reason
but it's as easy as learning the seasons

I wish we were closer too
if only you knew how you acted when it wasn't about YOU
