The overcoming storm
Scaring the nation
The political haywire
Abused complications

For who do we vote
A party to savour
Shall it be Liberal
Or maybe it's Labour

The Greens shake their heads
As the system shuts down
A leaderless nation
Spinning around

The lines getting longer
The voting's insane
Our sense of togetherness
Crashing the plane

The arguments build
The backbenchers sigh
The newspapers reeling
Political cries

All of this I have seen
Has frizzled the hair
Of business men endless
So why do I care

It seems just so pointless
All mirrors and tricks
Not helping not saving
So just fuck politics
