Hear The Call

The phone silently rings,
No one is around to hear its song.
The bird noiselessly chirps,
The window is its only companion.

She cries alone in the corner,
No one around to see her despair.
She silently begs for help,
The call is never heard.

She shouts into the sky,
The angels do not hear her.
Nearby the bird chirps to its companion,
Begging for a response.

The desperation,
Never understood.
The call that was made,
Was never heard.
