We are all Butterflies.

Butterflies are beautiful,
The word to accompany beauty.
The example of elegance and grace.
The stereo-type of gorgeous.

We as humans are all butterflies;
some plain, some fancy,
all different sizes and tones.
Yet we are all beautiful.
We are all Butterflies.

Some Butterflies are a dull brown,
some are a vivid red,
some seem to have eyes painted onto them,
and yet all,
we classify as beautiful.

I may feel that my blonde hair is boring,
that my blue-grey eyes are dull,
that the fact I'm not tall is daunting,
but others pay me compliments.

You may feel that your brown is dirty,
but I see it as a vivid chestnut,
you may see your long limbs as annoying,
but to me they are the world.

We all see differences in ourselves,
we see others as beautiful,
they see themselves as horrible.

The differences in Butterflies don't matter to us,
the colours and patterns make them individual,
the sizes make them different,
but no less beautiful.

So why do the differences in us matter?
Why do we judge others on one aspect?
A larger person may have gorgeous eyes,
or lovely hair, or flawless skin,
but people don't see that.
They don't see past the largeness.
If it didn't matter to us we would all be happier.
If we believed in ourselves we would see.

That one difference doesn't make us ugly.
Everyone can see a beauty,
if they truly look.
Even in themselves.

We are all Butterflies.

I wrote this off the top of my head. It just seemed to flow.
It needed to be told.
I hate the way we judge people, and ourselves. I think that everyone should love themselves, even a small part, a nose, a pair of hands or feet, long legs or short curves, pretty shaped nails, even just a part of our personality.
