Black Candle

It lights our way in darkness
Though it's dark itself
It lasts longer than any other
But after it melts

Even though it's dark
You can still see it at night
Though it's not like the sun
It still shows light

It's as beautiful as the night
There isn't anything like it
The only time it's beautiful
Is when it's lit

If you need help to find your way
Light the black candle through the dark
As long as it's lit
