Departure

i see you walking down an empty dirt road
alone... a ghostly pale
a black aura surronding you
i hear your screem but just can't move any closer
you fall to the earth with a loud thud
at first i see nothing
then you rise from your lifeless prison
only to run away from me
I yell come back
but you do not stop
i can't seem to grab your attention
why do you ignore me,
you start to walk into the woods
i follow you until i fall to the forest floor
fallen branches and mud surronding and covering me
as the earth cries my blood
you walk along a heavenly bridge to an immortal world
i try to follow but my legs will not move
you wave good-bye then...
you vanish and im alone in a forest
just me weeping over your departure
where have you gone
and why am i not with you?
