Safe?

The loneliness in my heart
Is filled with
The blood I’ve shed
Dripping down from my veins
Slowly drowning me
In my pain

My web of lies and deceit
Unravels suddenly
Strangling me, scarring me
Forever more
With no hope or faith
In the return of my sanity

The pain sears
Into my eyes
As the light fades
And I begin to die
I will forever be
Trapped in my mind
