Rhyming Poetry?

I’m searching for words to rhyme
it takes up so much time,
to push and push my brain
just for this silly game.
I’m trying to break a rule
to make this thing look cool,
but the more I try to find a law
the more this thing becomes a bore.
So here I sit, caged not free,
coupling words to get a degree.
