Skeletal Lies

The darkness flows around me,
As the sun begins to fade.
The bones they watch beside me,
The bones in which I wade.
The bones of a thousand lies,
The lies of which you told.
The Shadows swim around me,
Just as the deathly cold.

I walk through the dusking light,
And bathe within it's glow.
Without you I am nothing,
But with you I cannot go.
I watch upon the horizon,
As though I see you leave.
All I see is nothing,
All I hear is what I breath.

The light begins to fade now,
The glow has come to pass.
I turn back to my skeletal watchers,
And walk back towards the glass.
You said you'd never leave,
Yet again that was lie.
Forever you torment me,
Just by walking by.

Through time I may forget you,
As days turn into night.
Forever I may need you,
Because you made it right.
Through all my days I spent with you,
I never meant a thing.
You said that you hated me,
And yet you kept my ring.
