A poem is a message that comes from your heart
Its a song that helps to stop you from falling apart
Because if you keep your feelings in your soul will start to break
Then the little peices left behind are for everyone to take
Love is like a barrier that keeps you safe and warm
Its like a house protecting you from a storm
But one day love will fade away and you’ll be left in bits
You try to numb the pain with all the pharmecudical hits
Your friends can help you if you give them time
But when you need to keep it to yourself just write a story that rhymes
