So Alone

Drowning in a world so dark,
An endless downpour of rain.
Wandering aimlessly in a world so stark,
Eyes expressing only deep pain.
Feeling so isolated and alone,
Not one other soul around.
No one to call my own,
So dead, not even a sound.
Eyes burned by tears,
Absolutely soaked and cold.
Left alone to be swallowed by all of my fears,
A story never to be told.
A hand clutched around a locket,
Sobs, inhibited by gasping.
Not a single thing to pocket,
So silent, unheard their breath rasping.
Staring up into a black sky,
Falling to ones knees.
Completely devoid of life,
Begging for the pain to be eased.
