Zach Smith

Here come the days I quiver in fear; suffocating.
You're no where near where I want you to be.

I can't hide, you know me all too well.
You should know you've got me; got me under a spell-
tied and bound from all around.

Every direction my mind wanders. you show up, one way or another.
I can't run and I can't hide, but there are rules to which I must abide.
I can't tell you how much I miss you when your gone for this long; not a word.

Yet I'd do almost anything for you, and you know it's true.
Maybe you can't see it.
If so you must be blind, 'cause how much time I spend thinking of you is crazy.

I can't tell you how things got this way,
but I can't tell you of a moment that you're not in my mind.

Like an illusion in the desert, you're everywhere.
See what came from the starvation of having you there?
