The Posers Versus the Original

It doesn't seem nearly enough to say
That you're just a poser, trying to get your own way.
I don't know about you, trying to be like me
And I know you're going to try that every other day.
Why do you try this and how can you hear me,
You climb up the branches of the metaphoric "jealous tree",
Trying to find some way so that you can top my life
But you've always just watched and failed, that's my decree.
I always see people on the news and shows
And I never really figure out what they really ever see.
Because I can see the way that people really feel
And they wonder if anything is ever truly real,
How can their posers ever see the truth
When all the stars upon the stage have nerves of steel.
And how can you say that you know?
What's all in your mind is that of which you grow
And now that you find that you might be all alone
Because I really don't care if you show it, so
Don't try to be because you can't
It won't even turn to a nationwide rant
So let me be and I won't just go
With your mind growing like a new little plant.
How can you sleep in your bed all nice and warm,
Knowing that you'll always copy me with all that other people in the swarm
Who always face me while sporting my look
Because your all going in through my book
Trying to find a loophole where you can fit in
And all those odd pictures that you've always took.
