Matter doesn't matter. (Part 1)

It's like I'm not even here,
life hiding behind the sun,
space playing games with my mind,
tricking death from the edges
of a universe.
The sky looks so small, so dull,
so empty,
as Jupiter's rings comfort Pluto,
Mars flashing red and helpless.
The axis tilts,
everything thrown from orbit,
from normal,
and it cuts deeper than reality ever could.
Planets fall,
stars implode,
empty space stays
lonely, forgotten,
and I'm nothing.
