Whatever happened to your dreams of becoming an Astronaut? (growing up)

I used to think I could do anything
Be something, anything I wanted to be
I could belong
Just because I was me

I now I realize I was stupid
And with every night they fought
I knew the world didn't care about some kid (caught up in it all)
And now I wonder,
Whatever happened to our dreams of becoming an astronaut

Did we wake up to the real world
Grow up to be like everyone else?
