Those Thoughts

I’m going to lose you forever
and I can’t handle that;
I think about you
and it’s those thoughts again.

There’s fog in between us,
I can’t find my way through.
Then I reminisce your touch
and I feel whole once more.

These thoughts changing,
these feelings shifting;
it’s different than what I want
and I miss you again.

But then I look to my right,
It’s being passed once more.
I don’t want you to go
but in my thoughts you fly.

I walk outside and
my façade becomes reality,
crumbling at my feet
as I don’t see you there.

Seeing the words you say,
I think, honestly?
But then I’m brought back
and it starts all over.
