Let The Rain Fall

Into every life, some rain must fall,
But theres too much falling in mine.
Hold out your tounge, to try & catch the drops,
Just in hope that the sun will soon shine.

It seems that every day, theres one more tragedy,
That theres one more rose that fades to black.
Another one lost & another requiem sung,
In reminder of the time of which we lack.

Standing over a box covered in petals,
The rain begins to pound upon my heart.
There deep in the hole where you reside,
It floods my mind of memories of when you where mine.

So I'll wear this black suit all day,
As the rain beats down upon me, upon you.
Tears fall from my eyes in drops of red,
Embracing your lifeless hand, down in the abyss.

For in every life, some rain must fall,
But too much had fallen in ours.
