3 Friends In Grieving

Left alone for a night,
Three freinds gather,
To celebrate the life of the fourth.

Their vision becomes blurry,
Thier minds are slowly fading,
Faced with greif & shame,
They drink on into the night.

They laugh, they cry,
They look at each other,
With eyes as wide as the moon,
As they begin to sit closer & closer.

A hollow leg full of intoxicating fluid,
Soon becomes empty by midnight,
Shirts flung over the armchair,
Shoes slung into the corner.

Guilt escapes their bodies as they drink more,
Zips unizp & buttons unbutton,
But they're just friends in greiving.
