The day I met you
I found a friend-
And a friendship
I prayed would never end.
Your smile-so sweet

Kept me going

There were times when we didn’t see eye to eye

Even though we wanted to make it through:
Our friendship has died.
Circumstances have pulled us apart,
We are separated by many miles.
