The Time Traveller

The world was Lonely I could see,
That she would never be with me.
Around in time and space I went
This was never what I meant.

We ended fighting oh I knew that
If I could say sorry It would be my first wish.
Now I'm stuck rescuing Humanity
Until my master says Im free.

But that will never be.
Life is a lie, a big and worthless lie.
You live a pointless life until you wither and die.
Everyone except I.

I am a cursed man you see
forced to travel time every day and night
I stand up for the weak and fight the good fight
Until the universe burns around me.

Even then I will not die.
I will be useless I will cry and cry.
Down goes the curtain on the stage.
And that is how my story ends.
